Exness on Mac — MetaTrader 5 & web terminal · Nigeria
Two ways to trade Exness on a Mac — the web terminal in the browser, or MetaTrader 5 on macOS.
Open Exness Account →The question on a Mac is often not which platform to use but whether the machine allows anything to be installed at all. A personal Mac takes the desktop MetaTrader build in the usual way; a Mac issued by an employer frequently does not, and the browser platform exists for exactly that second case.

Personal Mac, work Mac, one account
MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 have macOS builds that install into Applications like any other program, keep chart layouts and indicators on that machine, and reopen them after the laptop wakes. That is the arrangement worth having on a Mac that belongs to the trader.
Where an administrator password is needed for every installation, the browser platform avoids the problem completely: it opens from the Personal Area in Safari, Chrome or Edge, stores nothing on the computer, and leaves no software behind on a machine that is not the trader's to change.
Both routes reach the same account, which makes the split easy to live with on the Nigerian clock. The London and New York hours fall inside the working day on UTC+1, so the browser is often what is available at the time, and the installed terminal on a personal Mac takes over afterwards.
Two ways to trade Exness on a Mac
On a Mac there are two options. The Exness Terminal runs in any browser (Safari or Chrome) with nothing to install. MetaTrader 5 also has a build that runs on macOS for advanced charting and automated trading.
Which to choose
The web terminal needs no download and starts in the browser; MetaTrader 5 suits traders who want the full desktop tools. Both connect to the same Exness account — see the MetaTrader 5 page.
